Checkout procedure very bad
Checkout procedure very bad. There is no review page or even in my case a chance to chose how to pay. Somehow, they got an instant, Imean instant Payment from my Paypal account, there is a provision on Paypal for this to happen, but I never gave such permission/authorisation for this. The order that I made!! Payment was taken within a minute, I just could not get off the site without inadvertently making “orders” that I didn’t want. So I closed the site and sent a cancellation message to them within 3 minutes. There was no reply until a notice of shipping within 3 hours. & hours later the confirmation of order came on my email. They did not respond to at least two complaints through the site. When I returned the email to advise I did not want to do business with them ,they just said “sorry the shipment has been sent, it is not company policy to cancel or change orders once sent”!!! It is hard to prove any criminal offence here, from a lawyers point of few, it would be almost impossible. There are unfortunately quite a few “SCAMS’ like this popping up. So basically avoid WELLKNEE. Their office is in the Arab Emirates!!! but the shipping address and return address is in Idaho, USA. The company is Versus Media!!! No doubt somewhere along the line this has been necessary to avoid some sort of “prosecution” I would suggest. Anyway, I am hoping Paypal can get into this as they have closed their doors to disreputable companies in the past.
